After a short lunch break on the trail, the students worked together to build snow forts and were challenged to start a fire in winter conditions using only a metal match, kindling, and cotton balls. The ROAR program would like to thank Margaret Kidwell, Amanda Shesterkin, Brittany Kersten, Jasmine Nutt, and Star Sullivan for enduring the weather and for helping to make this adventure a smooth and successful one.
