PROM NEWS! Republic High is school is excited to announce that we were able to join the Bi-County Prom this year! Prom will be March 9th, from 8:30-11:30 pm at the Spokane Convention Center. Like all the other small schools, bus transportation will be provided. There are 12 schools total that attend the Bi-County Prom: Davenport, Harrington, Inchelium, Liberty, Lind/Ritzville, Northport, Liberty, Odessa, Reardan, Sprague, Wilbur Creston and Wilson Creek. Please see Dena in the high school office to have your name put on the list and to pick up a permission slip. Please note that students do not have to ride the bus to attend but will need to be on the pass list to get in. If you have any questions, please call Dena at 775-3171 press #1 and then #3. Prom 2024 is going to be EPIC!

We have fabulous news: There is going to be such a great turnout for our Baseball season that we are in need of an Assistant Baseball Coach, plus there is still time to put in for our Head Volleyball Coaching position that is open. If you are interested in either position please contact Athletic Director Ryan Antos, or Chris Burnside in the District Office for full job description and more information. GO TIGERS!!

Spring Sports are HERE!! If you have a student in the 6th through 8th grade who interested in Junior High Track & Field, please come to a parent meeting tomorrow evening, Feb. 22nd at 5:30 pm the Elem cafeteria. Also, if you have a High Schooler interested in Boys Baseball, Girls Softball or Track & Field; please plan on attending the meeting for information and schedules. Please note that 8th graders are allowed to "play-up" in softball and baseball. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night at 5:30 pm in the Elem. cafeteria. GOOOOO TIGERS!

Despite the unusually mild winter, every elementary class managed to have a snowshoe adventure. Mrs. Starr's second-grade class had a great time on their trip to Hall Creek, enjoying the fluffy snow flurries and perfect temperatures. The next adventure for Mrs. Starr's class is a visit to the Ferry County Conservation District greenhouse, scheduled for late March.





A huge congratulations go out to Junior, Evelyn Phillips who placed second this weekend at the State Championships at the Tacoma Dome. Please join us in lining Main Street at 1:50 pm as we welcome home Evelyn, the alternates and the Coaches! See you there and GOOOOO TIGERS!


In recognition and honor of Presidents' Day, the Republic School District will be closed Monday, 2/19/2024. School will resume on Tuesday, 2/20/2024.

Congratulations to our Knowledge Bowl team!! They took 1st place at Regionals last night and will be competing at State on March 22nd and 23rd!! Team members at Regionals Orion Songhand, Thursday Curtis, Alex Jackson, Jeremiah Woods, Payton Booher and Coach Brian Ducker.


A Driver's Ed informational meeting will be held on February 15th from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Republic High School Tiger Cafe. If you have a student that will be 15 years old by March 13th and are interested in getting more information about the driver's ed program, please attend this meeting offered by Q Driving School out of Okanogan.


Mrs. Sage's third-grade class went on a winter adventure to Boulder Pass. During the trip, the students learned how to use snowshoes. They were also given a winter scavenger hunt challenge, in which they had to search for winter birds, an empty nest, and three different animal tracks. This was the first time that many of the students and chaperones used snowshoes.

Great news!! Your Republic Tigers Basketball Teams will be playing at the Deer Park High School tomorrow, Saturday, the 10th. The boys will play Northport at 2 pm and the Girls will play Odessa at 5:30 pm.. Good Luck Tigers!! We are so proud of all of you!
