Did you lose a Kia key fob at the basketball game in Pateros on Dec. 29th? If so, please call Dena at the high school. Thanks and GOOOO TIGERS!
Republic Elementary did it again! December class attendance was 90% or higher for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade. This earns them a hot cocoa social on Friday January 12th! Congratulations Tigers! #CommunitiesInSchools

School Board Recognition Month:
January is School Board Recognition Month. Let’s take this opportunity to thank our school board directors for dedicating their time to leading our schools. Five board members are elected from our community to volunteer their time and energy to oversee our public schools. They help ensure we have strong student and academic support, sustainable financial health, safe and secure schools, strong community engagement, and positive staff culture. A big THANK YOU to Amy Rooker, Travis Fletcher, Ralph Ellingson, Jack Hamilton, and Steven McGinley!!!
Thank you all who were able to take the 4-day school week survey. I have attached a link to the findings/presentation that was presented and broken down for the school board. No decision has been made at this time and I would like to make sure we are transparent with sharing the entire breakdown as it was presented. Have a very Merry Christmas and happy holidays!

Come join us on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 5 pm in the Elem cafeteria to help solve the case of the Jingle Bell Mystery! This play is brought to you by Mr. Cromwell and the Drama class (6th,7th & 8th graders). Admission is free! See you there!
Our last survival skills day on Hall Creek was with Mr. Zakar's 6th Grade class. Despite the rainy and cold weather, students had a great time learning compass navigation skills, basic first aid, and fire building. Most groups were able to start and maintain a fire and build shelters to keep out the rain. The ROAR program would like to express gratitude to Jim Beckwith and Bob Venters from the Ferry County Search and Rescue team and Christina Ralstin and Briana Smith from the Ferry County EMTs for volunteering their time and expertise to the students of Republic Elementary.

Water has been restored to the school district and all scheduled events will continue as planned. School resumes Monday 12/4/2023
Republic School District Community,
After very careful consideration and continued work on our district water lines with the city, we are needing to keep the school district closed for a 3rd consecutive day to complete all necessary repairs on Friday, December 1st, 2023. This will allow us to resume school on Monday, December 4th, 2023 and keep our current athletic programming on schedule. We understand the impact of these closures on our students' education and our families hard working schedules. We appreciate your flexibility as we work towards ensuring a safe environment for students and staff and are very grateful for the city’s quick response.
Please stay tuned for any needed further updates or future 2023-2024 school-year calendar adjustments as we move forward. Thank you for your continued support and understanding during this unfortunate event.
Dear Parents,
Mrs. Cromwell had scheduled the JH/HS Christmas Concert for today, 30 November 2023. We apologize for the inconvenience; we must cancel that concert due to our ruptured water line. Mrs. Cromwell will reschedule the concert and notify families as soon as the decision has been made on a new date. Please pass this message along to other families and community members.
Thank you,
Loren Finley
Parents,
I will send a message by noon, on 30 November 2023, about the concert that was scheduled for tonight. I would like to use this message to test the coverage of our all-call system. Please let us know if you do not receive the message that will go out at noon. today.
