SUPERINTENDENT'S CORNER
Republic School District Learning Community,
I am thrilled to welcome you all back to the Republic School District for the 2023-2024 academic year! As we embark on this exciting journey together, I am filled with gratitude and optimism for the opportunities, growth, and improvements that lie ahead. Over the past year we have seen student enrollment slowly climb back up, support positions added for class size reductions, student-centered options added, updates and scheduled updates to key areas around campus, partnership with STCU, expanded outdoor education program (ROAR), multiple athletic accomplishments, continued alternative and CTE learning options, and established school district goals within a 5 year planning process.
This school year, we are committed to providing an exceptional and enriching learning experience for each and every student. Our dedicated educators have been working tirelessly to design innovative and engaging lessons that will spark curiosity and ignite student passion for learning. From our youngest learners taking their first steps in education to our graduating seniors preparing for the next chapter, we are here to support them, challenge them, and celebrate their achievements.
To our parents and guardians, your partnership is invaluable. Your involvement and support play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students. Whether it's through volunteering, attending school events, or engaging in conversations about your child's progress, your commitment to their success is deeply appreciated. Please stay connected, review the handbook with your student, and help them take responsibility for their actions along their way to graduation and beyond.
As we move forward, we remain dedicated to the health and well-being of our entire school community. We will continue to prioritize safety measures to ensure a secure and nurturing environment for learning. Our collective efforts will allow us to navigate any obstacles that may come our way, and together, we will emerge stronger and more resilient. I encourage you all to embrace the opportunities that this new school year brings. Let us approach each day with an open heart and a curious mind, ready to learn, grow, and inspire one another. As we come together once again, let us remember the words of Helen Keller: "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."
Welcome back to the 2023-2024 school year at the Republic School District. May this year be filled with discovery, achievement, and the joy of learning.
Yours in Service,
John Farley
