Sports Update! Please make a note of the following: **High School Football on Friday the 15th has been moved to a HOME game on Saturday the 16th at 7 pm. **Thurs. Oct 14th, your Lady Tigers will be traveling to Cusick. Game time will be 6 pm. Thanks and GOOOOOOO TIGERS!

Attention JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL Families. Tomorrow's volleyball game at Curlew has been changed to a Noon start time. Bus now departs at 11 am. Thanks and GOOOOO TIGERS!

There are currently 53 active Covid cases in the Republic community. Of those cases, around 15 have ties to the school. Please keep your student home if they have any symptoms at all, especially: fever, runny nose, cough, or loss of taste or smell. Please do not medicate your children and send them to school. The school district continues to follow all department of Health requirements. We will always notify and quarantine identified close contacts when there is a confirmed case within the school.

Please note that the following games have been CANCELLED by the opposing teams: High School and Junior High Volleyball today (10/5/21) with Northport and High School Football at Cusick on 10/7/21

STRIPES is being cancelled on Wednesday, 9/29 and Thursday, 9/30. The after-school program will resume on Monday, 10/4. Thank you and have a great afternoon!

Dear Parents and Guardians, As Republic School District begins our 2021–22 school year, our Food Service Program is facing unprecedented supply chain issues. As a result, we may alter our posted menus with little to no notice. These changes are due to limited product availability, nation-wide transportation challenges, and supplier labor shortages. We are working closely with our distributors and manufacturers to secure food and supply items needed to support our program. While we plan to serve posted menu items each day, continued supply issues may not make this possible. We will attempt to substitute the scheduled menu with similar items to the extent we are able to do so. Please know that all students will continue to be offered meals that meet menu requirements, nutrition standards, and student acceptability. Mary Walker has cancelled this Saturday's football game in Springdale. We are working to find a replacement game at this time. Stay tuned and GOOOOOO TIGERS!

Due to a referee shortage the following games this week have been rescheduled. Tonight's home Volleyball game (9/14) against Northport has been moved to Oct. 26 at 6 pm and Friday night's home Football game (9/17) at 7 pm against ACH will also be rescheduled (date to be announced).

As Covid cases continue to rise in our community, PLEASE keep your student home if they are not feeling well or have any symptoms at all.

The school district can administer rapid antigen covid tests in the district office for staff members, students, or families. If a student is under 18 years of age, they will need a consent form signed by their parents to be tested. The form is located on our website under documents>Covid forms>Consent form for rapid test. We do have to communicate the results with the Department of Health. Please call ahead for testing and enter the back door (especially if you are experiencing symptoms).

High School Registration 2021-2022

The Republic school board will consider two resolutions regarding running an EPO levy (a replacement of an existing levy) and a capital projects levy for building repairs and upgrades on July 28, 2021. Please see the following information regarding the board’s obligation to appoint committee members IF/WHEN the board decides to run a levy. For/Against Committees (RCW 29A.32.280) The legislative authority of a district submitting a measure has the responsibility of appointing members to a committee that will write the statement for the measure and to a committee that will write the statement against the measure. Each committee is allowed up to 3 members, but can ask the advice of any number of individuals. All committee appointments shall be submitted to the Auditor’s office by the deadline to submit measures and resolutions. (in this case August 3rd, 2021). The board will appoint interested citizens at the July 28th, 2021 regular board meeting (IF a resolution is adopted by the board to run a levy or levies on the November ballot).
