Good Morning, Tiger Fans and Families! Here is the happenings for this week in High School Sports!
-Winter Sports Awards Night, Thursday at 6 pm in the Elem cafeteria.
-Friday, Doubleheader Home Baseball and Softball games at 1pm and 3 pm
-Friday, Track and Field travels to Colville High School. Meet starts at 3:30 pm.

We had another successful Family Reading Night in 2024! Thank you for joining us and making it a memorable event that promotes literacy and family bonding. Let's continue to prioritize reading as a family and make it a habit that will benefit us for a lifetime.

Miss King's kindergarten class had a wonderful time walking around the streets of Republic, visiting several local businesses on a field trip. The students were given behind-the-scenes tours of Anderson's Grocery and an introduction to the Republic Library, while also learning about restaurant etiquette at 18 North. We want to thank all the businesses participating in today's field trip.
The Bear Bus Route will now be running 1 hour late due to weather. We will address these issues as they get reported to transportation.
The Horse Bus Route is running 20 min. late due to weather. This is the Sanpoil run. All other routes are running as scheduled until further notice.
Attention High School Students! If you are planning on attending the Bi-County Prom this Saturday, please note that you will need to have a signed permission slip to attend. Even if you plan to not ride the bus to the event, you still need to have a permission slip signed. Permissions slips are located in the high school office. If you have any questions, just see Dena. PROM NEWS! Republic High is school is excited to announce that we were able to join the Bi-County Prom this year! Prom will be March 9th, from 8:30-11:30 pm at the Spokane Convention Center. Like all the other small schools, bus transportation will be provided. There are 12 schools total that attend the Bi-County Prom: Davenport, Harrington, Inchelium, Liberty, Lind/Ritzville, Northport, Liberty, Odessa, Reardan, Sprague, Wilbur Creston and Wilson Creek. Please see Dena in the high school office to have your name put on the list and to pick up a permission slip. Please note that students do not have to ride the bus to attend but will need to be on the pass list to get in. If you have any questions, please call Dena at 775-3171 press #1 and then #3. Prom 2024 is going to be EPIC!

We have fabulous news: There is going to be such a great turnout for our Baseball season that we are in need of an Assistant Baseball Coach, plus there is still time to put in for our Head Volleyball Coaching position that is open. Spring Sports are HERE!! If you have a student in the 6th through 8th grade who interested in Junior High Track & Field, please come to a parent meeting tomorrow evening, Feb. 22nd at 5:30 pm the Elem cafeteria. Also, if you have a High Schooler interested in Boys Baseball, Girls Softball or Track & Field; please plan on attending the meeting for information and schedules. Please note that 8th graders are allowed to "play-up" in softball and baseball. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night at 5:30 pm in the Elem. cafeteria. GOOOOO TIGERS!
Despite the unusually mild winter, every elementary class managed to have a snowshoe adventure. Mrs. Starr's second-grade class had a great time on their trip to Hall Creek, enjoying the fluffy snow flurries and perfect temperatures. The next adventure for Mrs. Starr's class is a visit to the Ferry County Conservation District greenhouse, scheduled for late March.
