🎃 Republic Youth Coalition Needs Trunks!
Let’s make this a great event for our community!
If you’d like to host a trunk, please contact Brittany — we’d love to have you join in the fun!

This past year, Colleen lovingly created beautiful knitted hats, scarves, headbands, and hair accessories for our students. Despite losing full mobility in her arms and experiencing limited hand function, she continues to do what she loves—knitting for others. Her dedication and generosity have made a meaningful difference in keeping our students warm and cared for.
This weekend, we were honored to give back. In a beautiful display of partnership and community, we helped Colleen prepare her house and yard for winter—a small gesture of appreciation for all she has done.
What a wonderful example of the power of connection and support. Thank you, Colleen, for your selfless hard work and the love you pour into every stitch. Your kindness warms more than just heads—it warms hearts.

Red Ribbon Week: October 27th – 30th
Theme: LIFE IS A PUZZLE, SOLVE IT DRUG FREE
RYAC, STACC, and CIS are excited to partner to celebrate Red Ribbon Week in the Republic School District from October 27th to 30th!
This year’s theme, “Life is a Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free,” encourages students to make positive choices and live a healthy, drug-free life.
🎉 Here's what to look forward to:
🧩 Monday Kick-Off:
Students can join a fun and engaging activity during lunch to start the week off right!
👕 Spirit Days:
Get ready to dress up and show your school spirit with themed days all week long!
🎭 Thursday Costume Reminder (Elementary Only):
Elementary students, please bring your costume to school on Thursday to change into after lunch recess!
🎤 Thursday K-12 Assembly – 3:00 PM:
We’re excited to welcome special guest speakers, hear from our principal, Mr. Finley, and enjoy other exciting surprises you won’t miss!
Let’s come together to support healthy choices, have fun, and make this Red Ribbon Week one to remember!

Although it will officially remain a Curlew home game, they’ll handle supervision, the chain crew, and the game clock. The Republic Boosters will still be firing up the Burger Booster Barn, so come hungry and ready to cheer! 🍔🔥
👉 Curlew will wear blue jerseys, and Republic will wear white jerseys — so let’s make it a WHITE OUT in the stands! Every Republic fan, wear WHITE to show your Tiger Pride and roar in support of our team! 🐅🤍
This special night will also be dedicated in memory of our beloved former coach, Mickey Fraser, whose leadership, faith, and passion for the game continue to inspire our Tiger family. 💛
Let’s pack the stands, honor Coach Fraser, and show what true Tiger spirit looks like!

Republic School District is truly blessed to have such dedicated and compassionate leaders guiding our schools. Their unwavering commitment to the success, growth, and well-being of every student is felt in every classroom, hallway, and heart throughout our district.
Thank you, Loren and Tess Finley, for your tireless efforts, your love for education, and the countless ways you create opportunities for our students to learn and thrive. Your impact is immeasurable, and we are deeply grateful.

Tomorrow's game against ACH will be played in ALMIRA and not Coulee City. The address to the Almira Middle School is: 310 S. 3rd St., Almira, WA. 99103
I was told the football field will be west of the school. Thanks and GOOOOO TIGERS! -Dena
Republic Elementary is incredibly grateful for your amazing partnership in helping provide winter boots to some of our students, as well as for your generous donation to the Bite2Go program. Your support is truly making a difference — keeping feet warm and bellies full over the weekend.

Your kindness and support are truly encouraging and a blessing to our school community. Thanks to your contribution, the holiday season will be a little brighter and more special for some of our students and their families.
We are grateful for your partnership and generosity!

Congratulations, winners—your colors are shining strong!

A special thank you to our amazing custodians! We appreciate your hard work and dedication.

September Birthdays Celebrated! 🎉
Students with September birthdays were recognized with:
A Birthday Certificate
A lunch pass to dine with Mrs. McKenzie
A Tiger Pride t-shirt
Fun goodies like Tiger Pride pencils and erasers
They also enjoyed a sweet treat—a cupcake or cookie—and the highlight of the day: Mrs. McKenzie’s lively rendition of “Happy Birthday.” 🎶🐯
It was a wonderful celebration!

Mrs. Campbell's 1st Grade ROAR adventure took the classroom outside and traveled to Kait's Crates in Tonasket to learn about the apple orchard life cycle.
The students explored the orchards, saw apples and pears growing right on the trees, and got to pick some fresh fruit straight from the source! They learned where our food comes from and how much hard work goes into harvesting.
A huge thank you to Kait Thornton at Kait's Crates! The students got a tour of the storage facility and even got to sample some crisp, fresh apples.
