The Republic School District Administration Office will be open from 8-4 Monday-Thursday through August 26th. Normal Monday-Friday hours of 8-4 will resume the week of August 29th. 9 - 12 grade students are encouraged to attend, Aug 1- 18, from 8:00-1:00 for credit retrieval. If your student failed a class during the school year, let's plan on attending and earning as much through retrieval as possible.

The Republic School District is excited to announce their next superintendent, Mr. John Farley. Mr. Farley has spent the last seven years as a principal in the Moses Lake School District. Before that, he served as an administrator in Montana for five years. He will officially start his new position on July 1, 2022.
Summer school will be from August 1-18 (Monday through Thursday only). The time will be from 8am to 1pm and meals will be provided. To reserve a place for your student, please call the office of the building in which they attend before June 17th to register. This is for 1st through 12th graders.

The Republic school board will hold a special meeting in executive session from approximately 2pm-9pm on Monday June 6, 2022 as they interview and evaluate superintendent candidates.
The meeting will be in the district office and no action will be taken following the executive session.
Today was the final day for these Seniors at RHS. They will be graduating tomorrow at 1 pm in the High School gym. The Class of 2022 arrived at school this morning “in anything but a vehicle”. Thank you Seniors for all the wonderful memories!
Meet the superintendent candidates! Please come meet the 3 finalists for the Republic School District superintendent position on Monday June 6th in the elementary gym. Community members and parents will be able to ask questions of each candidate. The candidates are scheduled for this portion of the interview process at 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm. There will be feedback forms that the school board will review before making a selection. Please come and contribute to this process! The 3 finalists are: Wyatt Ladiges, Kim Spacek, and John Farley.

The Welding Certification Program is accepting students for the upcoming school year! If your student will be in the 10th, 11th or 12th grade and they are interested in attaining certification, please plan on coming to an informational meeting held in the shop classroom on June 7th at 5:30 pm. Today at 9:45 am the school will sending off 3 Seniors to State Track and Field held in Cheney. State is a 3 day long event held on the Roos Field at Eastern Washington University. Courtney Starr will be competing in the 3200; Korbin Forsman will be competing in the 1600 and Trace Fletcher will be competing in the Javelin, Shot Put and Discus. Your Republic Tigers are coached by Josh Connor, Ed Forsman and Sally Larsen. Good Luck Tigers!

Last night’s rock concert, ended a series of Spring concerts held at Republic Schools. It was an amazing night filled with so much talent and fun! These musicians really delivered a performance like none other! Kudos to everyone and a hearty thank you to the Music Director, Sara Cromwell, for leading and organizing a great show!

“Senior Trace Fletcher continues to dominate the discus in the
1B-classification. He’s currently ranked #1 in Washington State’s 1B in discus. Fletcher recently attended the Undeberg Invite, which hosted 29 schools ranging from 1B to 1A, and placed 1st. He is also ranked #1 in the shot put in District 7. The senior is an honor roll student and has a 3.48 GPA at Republic High School.”
